Restore Your Energy (Hiking Guide)

A long day of hiking can drain your energy leaving you with that feeling of wanting to give up. Well it basically happens to everybody more especially when your body is still unfit Here are some tips on how you can restore your energy after a long day of hiking: 1.  Find a spot which you can rest 2.  Eat twice as much as normal. 3.  Calories play an important role in regulating body          temperature. 4.  Rest, eat and drink if you start feeling ill. 5.  Recovery can take an hour or longer. Try it works for me every time :)...

These are the most essential things you need to know when planning to go for a hike... BEFORE YOU GO 1.  Look at the weather forecast and adjust plans accordingly 2.  Everyone should feel well and be ready for the hike. 3.  Anyone not feeling well should postpone their hike. BALANCE FOOD AND WATER INTAKE 1.  Eat plenty of salty foods. 2.  Drink water throughout the day. 3.  Do not wait until you feel thirsty before you drink. Keep Cool: Summer Hiking Start your hike before sunrise and rest in the shade during lunch time. Wear a wide-brimmed hat and use sunscreen. Keep Warm: Winter Hiking Hiking will rise your body temperature. Wear a warm hat, gloves and wool socks. Keep extra dry clothes on hand.
